I would suggest 30 day intervals for evergreen content and 7-14 day intervals for seasonal content. Don’t forget if you add multiple boards to your pin to click ‘use interval’ so you aren’t spamming a bunch of boards all in one day. If you click schedule the pin will automatically go to your queue. Once you do that another window will pop up and you will choose your Pin image then click schedule or save to drafts. If you are pinning from your website you are going to use your Tailwind Chrome extension now to pull the pin into your queue. When you go back to your Home screen, then you’ll see your pins scheduled and from their you can edit or make changes in the future. Then you are going to Bulk Schedule, add all of your titles and descriptions, select your Pinterest boards to pin to, add the pin to your Communities (if you use them) and schedule it to your queue. Simply select Upload Media and select your pins in bulk from your computer. If you haven’t pre-written the description or title you will need to do a little research before you schedule your pin. The most important thing you can do here is to pin them to the most important board first. ![]() ![]() I haven’t found a difference in pinning from their blog vs pinning from Tailwind. In that case I upload their pins to Tailwind drafts and optimize them from there. Many of my clients have a blog but I don’t have access to their site and they aren’t always on hand to upload pins to their posts. You can share your pins in one of two ways and I do it both ways for clients each week. Tailwind is the last piece of the puzzle when you’re sharing your content. You create your blog posts or videos, Pinterest images and prepare your descriptions. The repetition is sure to help your workflow move quicker overtime. I’ve used this wonderful tool the same way for every client. So friend let’s cover just how you’re going to use Tailwind to schedule your pins in one hour or less per week. Pinterest has come out and said they don’t care if your pins are pinned manually or if you use a scheduler. The Tailwind app sends your pins out during their prescheduled time so you don’t have to be online pinning your content manually. Bonus… You can even schedule your Instagram using Tailwind! You can schedule your pins or have your VA schedule them using Tailwind. I don’t think I needed to throw that headline in but hey it’s worth it to just solidify why I’m writing this post for you this week. But I do have a solution that is still popular that I used for years and that’s Tailwind. Many great tools have basic free options, but depending on your needs and preferences, it is not always the way to go.
